A roleplay transcript by Malekith, Aoife and Etain.

Etain Moonflower glanced up at Malekith and smiled as she stood close to him, reaching for his hand. "Cora and I were talking about visiting the bathhouse the other day. You've read my mind," she excitedly said as she turned her gaze to the nearest empty pool. The mist wafted over them, dampening their hair and skin. "Will we have masseurs attend to us or…" her voice trailed as she looked back to Malekith expectantly.

Malekith Helerodis glanced down at Etain and smiled back to her, his hand reaching up to brush lightly at the side of her face, pushing some hair away that obstructed his view. "What are the chances?" He gave her a little wink and continued on until they were just outside the tunnel that led to the bathhouse. "I was hoping you would assist me in that… but if you prefer another on mine or your body.." He stopped, waiting on her response before continuing.

Etain Moonflower "I would love to take care of you," she said, grinning up at him. "I doubt anyone is as skilled with their hands as I am anyway. I have had much practice over the years. Shall I disrobe you first, my love? Or would you prefer I disrobe?"

Malekith Helerodis smiled as something she had said or had done seemed to please him, and he moved to the side of the bath and turned to her. "Why dont you disrobe me first, then you may remove your own clothes." He held his hands out to either side of him and waited for her to proceed.

Etain Moonflower started removing his clothing, her eyes sparkling in warmth as she did so. She folded his clothes neatly so the attendant could take them away. Once she was fully disrobed and the attendant had made off with all of their belongings, she turned toward him and stood up on tiptoes to wrap her arms about his neck. She wanted his lips on hers, and she closed her eyes awaiting his kiss.

Malekith Helerodis kept his eyes trained on her as she removed each article of clothing and neatly set it aside, it was clear the King was not shy in the buff as they undressed in the public space. When she returned to him he watched her with heavy eyes and as her arms went about his neck he leaned his head down to meet with hers, their lips connected and he wrapped his arms around her waist to hold her close to him. When they finally finished, he gave her breast a playful poke and he winked. "Your turn." and then began to slip into the waters to wait and watch her.

Both brows lifted at his playfulness. The king seemed to be in good spirits today and this made Etain happy. She followed him into the water and slid her fingertips up one arm as she stood behind him and worked her magical fingers along his flesh. They gently squeezed over his muscles, working through any kinks they found. "I often wondered if you would take me to a place such as this," Etain Moonflower lightly said. "Cora and I were talking about sneaking over at some point," she shared, and from her tone it may be hard to discern whether she was serious or jesting.

Aoife appeared out of nowhere, having fallen asleep in a random grassy knoll in the city after being in the hollow for the first. She wasn't sure if it was from the wine or what, but apparently she had needed the nap. Unfortunately it also meant that now Aoife was covered in gods only-know-what so she just peeled all her clothing off and chucked them into the world's most convenient personal portal to send them home to be washed. With some effort she'd called forth a simple little slip of a gown, and had come to the bathhouse to scrub herself down. She was just stepping into the water when her head came up and around, then she sneezed. When she did so, little bits of grass flew out of her hair. Aoife then groaned in not-quite frustration.

Malekith Helerodis turned in a way that offered the Nymph, his future Queen, access to his back to massage him. He had many kinks, as Etain knew, and would eventually find them. It seemed it had been awhile since he had a good massage. He sighed lightly and closed his eyes, listening to Etain speak and he smirked. "That so? And what else are you and your sister getting up too?" His tone though was less playful of hers. Etains hands would eventually find the scars that littered his back. When they moved over them he reacted differently than he had the rest of his body but he said nothing of it, only looking over his shoulder when he heard the approach of another visitor of the baths. Spotting Aoife he smiled to the elf. "Aoife. Pleasure seeing you here." He greeted her and returned to enjoying his bath, but kept his ear turned to her if she engaged them in conversation.

Etain Moonflower fluttered her lashes as she watched the back of his head, enjoying the way the soft, wispy strands of white hair lay lazily over his crown and danced with the simplest of movement. His reaction to her hands sweeping over his scars did not go unnoticed, and she leaned down, placing soft kisses along his dampened skin. Her eyes were closed. Etain found her thoughts were always filled of him. Her hands went to the back of his neck as they sat, strong fingers working over any tense muscles. The nymph heard the sneeze but paid it no mind, but the familiar name that escaped her lover's lips drew her attention back toward the elf joining them. "Oh, hello! You are the lovely elf who is with child, yes? Lady Eternatee's friend."

Aoife chuckled as she turned to regard the totally completely loaded pair that absolutely weren't missing body parts for no reason. "Was," she corrected gently. "Was was child. My daughter was born recently." She then dipped her head in greeting, even if it wouldn't be seen. "Aye, I'm Aoife, it is good to see you again Your Majesties." She then grabbed some soaps and began to scrub because was that dung floating from the general area of her ears? Oh lord. "If it seems like a shock, well, I'm from a few places where time moves differently," she explained after a few moments. "For me, after the battle I was gone for nearly a year in my home. When I returned to Ansa'fel proper, I discovered only a few weeks had passed here after the battle with the great beast."

Malekith Helerodis simply enjoyed the attention he was receiving from Etain at the moment in silence, the sound of the water moving through the baths as they were heated underground it seemed and recycled back into the water that they bathed in. His ears twitched when the Queen addressed Aoife and he smiled some. Hearing Aoife mention the birth of her daughter he added "Congratulations. I suspect she is healthy then?" he turned his head slightly to the side but it was clear she was in his blind spot at the time. "I remember you, of course. You aided my city, I would not soon forget." He listened to her go on about her home and the flow of time, his brow raising. "Interesting. I have heard of such things from the mages, though I never experienced it myself."

Etain Moonflower had fully turned to Aoife, her task at hand momentarily forgotten, and she tilted her head as she followed the elf's words. "Well, congratulations! A daughter - how divine! I bet she is as lovely as her mother. Dark hair? What color eyes," she gushed with a smile and settled deeper into the water, straightening her legs for the moment so that she now soaked in the pool and turned her back to Malekith as she bent her legs. 'I wonder if he will offer me a massage too,' came the fleeting thought as she rested her forearms over bent knees. "Do you find Ansa`fel a place you frequent often, Aoife?" She dropped her hand into the water and rubbed the back of her finger along the smooth skin at Malekith's hip absently, her smile spreading over full lips. "I have never really had a desire to leave the Hollow until recently. I find the city and its people quite charming and have taken to exploring more of it all."

Aoife blushed slightly. "Healthy as my other hybrid children," she confirmed, then moved to scrub other parts of her body. "Initially, I was simply here, where ever here is. Then one day I ended up in another land, in another sphere. There it seemed time flowed normally, but somehow it moves faster there than here. By chance a faerie portal brought me to a world-between-worlds, and there it seemed time moved so slowly it was though it didn't march at all. It was wildly disorienting until I managed to learn how to travel back and forth," she explained. "Still, while days will pass in ansa'fel city, only hours will pass at home." She blushed a bit. "I couldn't stand by when your city was attacked, King Malekith," she said simply. "Not when I could try to help." Queen Etain's questions were a welcome distraction. "Dark hair, like mine and Steven's, and she has my amethyst eyes," she replied warmly. "I do," she said. "The Silver Marches are very boring, so a city that is vibrant and full of life is a welcome reprieve." Not to mention full of magic for consuming.

Malekith Helerodis felt Etains hands leave him as she resumed her conversation with Aoife and he leaned back into the side of the bath to float his legs and relax. "Thats good to hear, Aoife." he replied and continued to listen. He smiled thoughtfully when she spoke of helping the city and then spoke of its he nodded agreeing with her. " Glad to hear it, Aoife." He raised his hand out of the water and rubbed it over Etains shoulders idly as they sat their, enjoing the water and each others company. "We're happy to have you here, Aoife. Stay as long as you like. You are welcome in my city." He pulled Etain closer to him, wrapping his arm around her waist in a possessive fashion. "Perhaps you will attend our wedding as well?" He added, though his eyes were all for the nymph.

Etain Moonflower continued to smile warmly at Aoife as she listened to the elf recount her experiences with the various places and their differences in time. She loved hearing about the adventures of others. Etain nodded. "What an exquisite combination. Dark hair and vivid amethyst hues," she sighed wistfully, turning to Malekith. Her lips parted as if to say something, but she hesitated, her soft green eyes narrowing before she scooted whatever thought she had out of her head. She simply smiled at him and then leaned back, the slyest of grins tugging at one corner of her lips as Malekith moved his hands over her shoulders and then pulled her to him. She rested the back of her head at his shoulder as her eyes closed again, enjoying the warmth of the water.

Aoife hummed softly as she got the dirt and grime out of her skin, but was acutely aware of the presence of King Malekith and Queen Etain. "Of course," she replied without missing a bit. "I have never been one to refuse an invitation from royalty and I don't plan to start now." She shifted, not batting an eyelash to motions or catching a big old eyeful of flesh. Once upon a time she'd been a vestal virgin, so shy public bathing had scandalized her, now it was just another Turdas (thursday). She then sneezed some soap into the water, making a face at the herbs that had been the culprit. "Will this be a kingdom wide affair, open to all?" She asked innocently. Aoife was used to such events being stately things, but she wouldn't be surprised if the royal couple opted for something more private instead.

Malekith Helerodis looked at Etain as she had him, his head tilting slightly. He raised a brow and figured he would ask. "What is it?" He raised his other hand and brushed the hair from around her neck, which in turn revealed more of her chest. His eyes looked downward a moment and he grinned, but he did expect an answer from the Queen. When Aoife asked, he nodded to her. "Glad to hear it, but its not required if you dont make it." he listened further. "Yes and no. Their are some that will be barred. But those, especially the heroes of our city, will be, of course, invited to join and partake in the festivities. Drinks… food… everything." He smiled to Aoife but once again looked to Etain and nudged her to speak had she not.

Etain Moonflower favored him with a playful grin at his question, long lashes fluttering as she turned her face from his. "Nothing, my love," she said non-commitally and left it at that. Even, white teeth raked at the full lower lip as she felt his eyes linger on her very full bosom. The king's response though, caught her off guard and caused her to take pause as she thought over his words. They hadn't discussed such details before. But then, to be honest, they did not spend much of their time in any discussion. Their relationship seemed to be purely physical. She cleared her throat softly and leaned in to kiss his cheek, moving gracefully to sit on his lap as she looped her arm around the back of his neck. Her heart skipped and pounded in her chest as she sat skin-to-skin with him. She inhaled deeply, a look of satisfaction flitting over her soft features as she gazed into his pale eyes before turning to Aoife once again. "I still need to speak with my sisters. I hope they will help me plan the affair. Well, the parts I wish to oversee, anyway." She looked to Malekith then, "You don't mind, do you, my love," she asked with a little smile. Blinking back to Aoife, "I do hope you can attend, Aoife. Will you be bringing that dark-haired man who was at your side and wished to flee the fight? Is that your lover and father of your child - this Steven?"

Aoife had just begun to open her mouth to say something smart-assed when common sense caught up with her just in time and instead replied with, "if I can be there, I will do so in my finest attire." She then nodded, before dipping underwater to rinse off before surfacing and sitting back against the stone. Somehow the fabric of her dress didn't turn completely sheer in the process, but Aoife wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. She looked thoughtful. "You mean my husband?" She asked, looking momentarily confused. "If he feels like it, sure. He's been pretty preoccupied with the baby lately but I might be able to drag him down." She pursed her lips and puffed out a bit of air as she smiled. "Steve can be grumpy, but even he can't resist the pull of politics and danger for too long." There was a chuckle as she said this, but it was clear she meant no harm.

Malekith Helerodis kept his eyes firmly planted on Etain, though he did not seem satisfied with her answer he would rise out of the water after she finished asking about Steven. "You and your sisters will probably be looking after most details when we get around to discussing them. I have only a few minor requests that I am sure won't change much in your original design." He stepped out of the water and overheard Aoife's comments about her husband but did not say anything as he began to dry himself off. An attendant of the bath house approached him with her clothes, they were neatly pressed and folded, more so than when Etain had taken them off him, warmed and any wrinkles pressed out. He bowed his head lightly to her and turned to Etain. "We should be going." He began to replace the missing clothes but his eyes continued to watch his future Queen.

"Mmmm," she said, her smile ever-present. The nymph was one of the most kind-hearted creatures around and rarely played or battled with words. She was simply a curious sort, and spoke what was on her mind and bounced off her tongue. She tore her gaze from the elf and settled it on her fiance. She simply smiled, lowering her chin in acknowledgement of his words. "Well," she began, both brows rising as she turned to Aoife, "It was a pleasure to see you, and I hope you and yours enjoy the little wreath of flowers that my sisters and I made for you. May it bring a smile to your lips and warmth in your heart." Etain Moonflower rose, the water droplets sliding down her bare, shapely body as she offered the king her hand so he could take it and assist her out of the water. "Yes, my love," she said throatily, her expression neutral though as she glimpsed at his his features, and her cheeks flushed under his intense gaze. "Be well, Aoife. Until next time."

Aoife was used to sudden mercurial shifts in the minds of kings, so she was neither surprised nor offended when King Malekith chose to take his leave. For a moment, she was a senator again, deferring to her sort of father-in-law when he needed to return to the castle for something. With a mental shake, Aoife reminded herself that he was dead and gone now, and she was a simple plebeian once more. She nodded. "Many thanks for the flowers, the baby adores them," she said to Queen Etain. She twisted around to watch them go then, and King Malekith would feel the assessment in her gaze. Not for virility, but for his ability as a fighter. "Veyet'toon," she called in farewell, the draconic word slipping easily off her tongue.

Malekith Helerodis had fully dressed himself and waited on Etain to follow suit. He glanced back into the waters at Aoife and he nodded his head to her. "I do hope you take up my offer and come to the Palace sometime. If its within my power, I can see to your requests, if you have one." He lightly nodded his head to her. "Until then. See you around, Aoife." Once Etain had been dressed he would take her by her hand and lead her back out of the tunnel, heading towards the stairs that would lead them up to the highest tier of the city and eventually back to the Palace. When out of ear shot of Aoife he looked sideways to Etain. "I suppose you haven't learned yet?" He held her hand firm. "I suppose we will continue then.." His voice oozing with disappointment as he spoke, and they eventually made their way into the Palace walls and disappeared.

Etain Moonflower smiled at Aoife's words and let Malekith lead her toward the palace. Her heart started its pitter-patter again. She could feel something in the air, almost taste it on her tongue. She had done something to frustrate him or, at the very least, she had done something he would use to make a lesson of - to teach her, in his many different ways, how not to slip again so soon. His words confirmed her wanton thoughts, and she bit her cheek to suppress the impish grin that threatened to play over her lips.

Aoife leaned against the wall of the bath as they left, wondering just what could be offered to her. Her thoughts were long and deep, so she lingered for a few hours.
