A roleplay transcript by Eternatee and Iskrin Orin'Darr

:: Iskrin Orin'Darr turns to ensure Eternatee is keeping up. He smiles and gestures to the glade. "Here we are - safely alone within the Hills of Keshel." He smiles. "Quite a popular location for acts of magic, I believe. Will it meet your purpose?"

Snapshot_005

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє ßєäя ღ Walking fast to keep up with Iskrins longer strides I stop and look around. The area is flat and away from others and very quiet. Giving a nod "Yes this is perfect."

:: Iskrin nods. "Very well. I will wait here while you get set up. Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist." He watches the young elf sorceress carefully, wondering of the wisdom of trusting her, but feeling that on balance this will be kill or cure and that that is sufficient.

Snapshot_008

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Kneeling on the ground and taking my athame I carve into the ground various ancient symbols and runes into a circle. When done I stand and place 4 candles and a crystal at the 4 points. North, south, east and west lighting the candles.

:: Iskrin watches the work, familiar enough with the rites of magic to see that it is well done. A small smile crosses his lips.

Snapshot_012

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє ßєäя ღ I then motion for Irskin to enter and sit in the center. Bringing the box with the sword

:: Iskrin steps across the boundary of the circle, watching the magic lick around his boots as he does so. He can feel the oily prickle of the energy crawling up his legs as he approaches the centre of the circle. He places the box containing the blade as instructed and sits in the centre of the swirling energies.

Snapshot_009

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє With a nod I walk around the circle 3 times pouring salt on the last to seal the circle around us. then kneel in front of Iskrin.

:: Iskrin watches the sorceress work in silence, his mind clear of doubt

Snapshot_015

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє First I place two bowls in front of me and into one I place sage and light it, the other salt. Then I take out a goblet and pour clear water. Taking out two red apples I slice one in half and take out a bay leaf placing the leaf on one half onto the box with to sword to protect it. I then slice the other apple and place a bay leaf on one half in front of me to protect me. Then beside me I place a pair of silver scissors along with another crystal.Once all the items are in place I look at irskin and give a reassuring smile. "Ready to start?" I ask.

:: Iskrin watches the preparations calmly and nods in answer to the question. "Proceed," he says simply.

Snapshot_019

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє "What is your friends name?" I as

:: Iskrin whispers "Lemfillian Gire."

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Giving a nod at the name Iskrin tells me I start the ritual. Raising my hands above my head I speak in a loud, clear and commanding voice. To the spirits of the North I beseech thee, Find favor with mine call and summons, On the seven winds I beg thee travel, And greet me in mine presence.
To the spirits of the South I beseech thee, Find favor with mine call and summons, On the seven winds I beg thee travel, And greet me in mine presence.
To the spirits of the East I beseech thee, Find favor with mine call and summons, On the seven winds I beg thee travel, And greet me in mine presence.
To the spirits of the West I beseech thee, Find favor with mine call and summons, On the seven winds I beg thee travel, And greet me in mine presence. Lemfillian Gire we command you to come and speak of things that need bespoke, From this moment hence. For things that need be done we ask you to come forth to our presence here."

:: Iskrin sits still, unaware that he is holding his breath. Then, on the wind, a faint but familiar voice comes drifting to them. "I come." It is a woman's voice. Iskrin smiles. "It's her," he says, as a small orb of white light coalesces from the air and hovers in front of them. The voice speaks again. "What would you will of one so newly passed?" the voice of Lemfillian asks.

Snapshot_020

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє The circle glows brightly and the candles flicker as the breeze picks up. There is a chill in the air as The glowing orb of light appears and when hearing the womans voice I can't help but smile. "Thank you for coming to us and gracing us with your presence Lemfillian. We have called you forth to ask if you would be willing to help Iskrin in serving the King and people."

:: "Iskrin?" the voice asks with a laugh. "So you couldn't leave me be, huh?" Her smile is audible in her tone. "What would you have of me, Iskrin Orin'Darr? What is so important that you would disturb my sweet eternity in the realm of the dead?" Iskrin looks to Eternatee, unsure whether he should speak or not.

:: Iskrin nods. "Lemfillian," he says, his voice faltering slightly. "Old friend." He smiles. "You and I both know our fight is not yet done. And I know you were not yet ready to give it up." He looks at the orb of light, wondering if she can see him. "My friend," he gestures to Eternatee, "This sorceress, has a way to place your spirit into a sword. We would be able to fight alongside one another until I join you beyond the veil. Will you continue to serve the AmranKai? You have only to say no and she will release you from this circle. What say you?"

Snapshot_013

:: The orb bobs in the air for a moment, almost as though it is weighing up the options. "What will it be like bound inside a sword?" Lemfillian asks Eternatee. "What will I experience?"

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Points to the box with the sword in it. "This sword had a evil spirit that has corrupted your friend. I have to finish removing it from him first. I will have to put you into a crystal for a short time to keep you safe then I will put you into the sword. You will aid the bearer of the sword in fighting for the King and people. Giving him your strength, battle tactics and speed. Not to possess them but aid them is doing good."

:: The orb bobs again, as though nodding. "Will you carry me, Iskrin?" Lemfillian asks. "I will," the Estril replies. "We will fight alongside one another. Lend your strength to our service - take this chance to continue to make a difference." The orb bobs again. "Very well," Lemfillian's voice says. "I will do it."

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Nodding my head I wave my hand and a white crystal appears. "If it is your choice to aid the King and people, to serve the bearer of this sword in only doing good and not to posses their soul then come into this crystal. You so so of your own freewill Lemfillian."

The orb floats slowly closer to Eternatee, gaining in brightness as it does so until it is hard to look at. Then, in a flash, it surges towards the crystal and is gone.

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Watches as the orb vanishes into the crystal making it glow with a white light. I carefully place the orb on the box next to the apple and bayleaf for protection and safety. Taking a deep breath as I know what is next. Waving my hand I summon a thick rope. "It is time to pull him out my friend. I need to restrain you so you are not able to harm yourself."

:: Iskrin nods. "Do what you must, Lady Eternatee."

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Moving over to Iskrin I tie his wrists together then run the rope to his ankles. Making sure the rope is tight but not cutting off his blood flow. Then I start to hard fight to to remove the evil spirit's links to my friend.

:: Iskrin allows the sorceress to bind him, watching her with calm eyes as she does so.

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Stretching out my hands over Iskrin my voice strong and powerful as they glow bright white "For a speaking of things that need bespoke, From this moment hence, Thy powers do I wish invoke, For things that need be done come out of this vessel Ke'ntor. I call you forth out of him all ties to be severed, all ties to be cut, come forth NOW!

Snapshot_024

:: Iskrin jerks as a bright, sickly purple light builds in his chest. It seems to resist Eternatee's summons. The voice of Ke'ntor rings in the air with a metallic sound. "Who are you to command me, bitch?"

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Taking the goblet with the fresh water from a mountain stream I pour it into the bowl of salt, repeating my words. "Come out of this vessel Ke'ntor. I call you forth out of him all ties to be severed, all ties to be cut, come forth NOW!" Dipping my hand into the bowl of salt water I flick some onto Iskrin.

:: Ke'ntor screams and then is silent. The glowing light pulses repeatedly and then dims for a moment. The air is still and the birds and insects can be heard, muffled by the barrier of the circle. Then there is a flash of light and Ke'ntor is drawn from Iskrin's body. The light hangs writhing in the air. "Return me!" Ke'ntor's voice growls. "Or I swear to god I will rend you limb from limb you meddling fucking elf."

Snapshot_025

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Focusing on the spirit with all my strength knowing I have to finish this for my friend. I flick my wrist and summon another crystal then resume my hold on the spirit. " I cast you into this crystal where you can no longer control, speak to nor possess this vessel from this day to the end of all eternity. There is no where else for you to go Ke'ntor you are trapped in this circle."

:: The orb moves back from the crystal Eternatee is holding. It bangs against the invisible walls of the circle as flashes of purple, blue and white electricity spark wherever it connects. Ke'ntor's song can be heard. "Here we go, here we go, cut and slash and LET ME GO!" The orb flies at Iskrin, but is repelled by Eternatee's magics. It whirls around and around, drawn closer and closer to the crystal in her hand. "Stop it!" Ke'ntor screams in rage. "Stop it you fucking bitch! Stop this fucking binding. I swear to all things unholy that if you bind me I will escape. I will hunt you down, elf. I will slice you from cunt to crown and dance on your entrails. I will tear off your arms and ram them into your fucking ass, I will….." but as he screams and rages, the purple light is drawn inexorably into the crystal and his voice becomes quieter and quieter until it is a faint whisper on the wind and then…. is gone. The moment the spirit is bound, Iskrin lets out a groan and leans forward, clutching at his chest.

:: Iskrin "Is he… is he gone?" Iskrin asks, his voice weak. "I feel… empty."

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Sweat beads on my forehead as the spirit fights me as I draw it to the crystal in my hand. The cruel words ringing in my ears. When Ke'ntor is in the crystal I let out a breath of relief. Hearing Iskrin's weak voice I set the crystal beside the apple and bay leaf in front of me then rising move to him. "Yes he is gone from you at last. You are free from him. Rest as I finish."

Snapshot_026

:: Iskrin relaxes his shoulders. "Thank you, Eternatee," he whispers, relief washing over him. "I feel like a dark part of me is missing that I didn't even know was there." He smiles at her. "You are powerful indeed to bind one such as Ke'ntor."

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Smiles at Iskrin "You are most welcome my friend. This is a good thing to have gone. Now I have to put your friend into the sword." Reaches and unties the rope from Iskrin as I speak.

:: Iskrin rubs his wrists once the ropes are gone. He watches Eternatee silently as she works.

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Standing I open the box to revel the sword. Holding my hands over it I check to make sure that my spell to purge Iskrin has also drawn the remainder of Ke'ntor's spirit out of the sword. "There is no sign of him left in the sword. However I am going to purify it before putting your friend in it." Taking the bowl of salt water I pour it over the sword. " I banish all evil, all bad and negative powers from here. You no longer are tied or held to this sword. Only good and purity shall be allowed here from her to the end of time.

:: Iskrin smiles. "So mote it be," he whispers.

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Taking the crystal with Lemfillian held in it I hold it out by the sword. "I bind you Lemfillian to this sword. I bind you to give your strength. I bind you to give your wisdom to all who bear this sword in service to the King and the people. I bind you to serve for good and not evil. You gave your consent to be bound so shall it be!" The crystal goes dark as the sword glows as Lemfillian moves and becomes one with sword.

Snapshot_027

:: Iskrin watches as the light transfers to the sword. He thinks he can hear a sigh of satisfaction on the wind as Lemfillian's spirit enters the blade.

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє With a soft sigh of relief I sit back and my magic fads from my hands. "It is done. You are free of Ke'ntor and she is now one with the sword. You are free to take it now."

:: Iskrin reaches out for the sword, taking its hilt in his hand. As he grasps it, Lemfillian's voice fills his mind. "Hello old friend," she says, a slightly metallic ring to her words. "I am tired and need to rest. But we will speak soon." With that, her voice is gone and the sword stops glowing. Iskrin sheaths it at his belt and looks up to Eternatee. "Thank you," he says. "I owe you a great debt, Eternatee."

Snapshot_028

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Gives a tired smile "Happy to have helped you" Lifting my hands I thank the powers and spirits that came to assist and release them. Standing on wobbly legs due to power that I spent I reach a hand to help Iskrin up.

:: Iskrin takes Eternatee's hand and stands. He smiles and rests his hand on the hilt of the Blade of Gire at his belt. "I cannot return with you to Ansa`fel," he says, meeting Eternatee's eyes with a look of apology.

Snapshot_029

:: Iskrin walks over to the rocks across the glade and unhitches a horse. He leads it quietly back to Eternatee. "This is for you," he says. "He will take you back." He hands over the reins. "I have been summoned to the High Citadel. Apparently my recent behaviour has displeased the High King." He sighs. "Even the AmranKai answer to someone."

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Nearly dropping the candles and crystals I turn shocked at Iskrins words. "But it was not your fault that the sword had a spirit that made you do those things."

:: Iskrin shakes his head. "I chose to wield the sword," he says simply. "I knew the risks, Eternatee." He turns to look at the road he must travel and then turns back with a wry smile. "Do not worry for me. I will return."

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Putting the items away as I ponder. "Perhaps if I go with you to speak to the King on your behalf. I can help explain what happened and explain how it can't happen again."

Snapshot_030

:: Iskrin laughs softly. "One does not just turn up to meet the High King," he says gently. "I appreciate your willingness, Eternatee, but this is a journey I must make alone."

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Frowns "Why? I might not be royal but I know how to act proper. I even have fancy dresses."

:: Iskrin shakes his head. "The High King is not like Malekith," he says. "The High King is a god walking on this plane of existence for their own purposes. Purposes that not even the AmranKai are entrusted to know. The High Citadel is a dark fortress of magic and pain. Only those who are summoned may enter. Only those who are summoned may return." He smiles, hoping to soften the news. "It is not a place one volunteers to go, even if one were permitted to."

Snapshot_032

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Frowns more at this information. "Sounds like a very dangerous place. A horrible place." Gets a steel look in my eyes. "You are not going alone. I wont permit it. I can follow you there or go with you. Your choice."

:: Iskrin shakes his head again. "I have tried to be kind about this, Eternatee. I am the First Estril of the AmranKai. I am the living will of the High King. I am grateful for your aid with the spirit of Ke'ntor, but you mistake my friendliness for equality. If you follow me, you will be killed. This is my sworn duty as an AmranKai. I am summoned by the High King to face their judgment for my actions. I go alone." His eyes flare with anger and, perhaps if one were to look closely, a hint of fear. He turns on his heel and begins to walk away from her. "Return to Ansa`fel," he says, turning back for a moment. "Tell Malekith where I have gone. Do not follow me."

Snapshot_033

:: ღ єϮєяηäϮєє Lets out a frustrated growl "Men!" May the gods help me understand them!" Turns and heads back to Ansa'fel alone to tell King Malekith where Iskrin had gone
