Ezran hesitated as she asked him to close his eyes. It was not something he was usually comfortable doing in company, but her entire aura was soothing to his usually cautious mind. "OK," he whispered as he closed his eyes and unconsciously tensed himself against what might come. Her healing was remarkable. He could see a light shining brightly beyond his eyelids and felt the pain pool up inside him and then disappear. "Yes," he breathed in answer to her question. To test it, he gently flexed his shoulder and moved his arm. The pain was gone completely. He slowly opened his eyes again and looked at her. "I had no idea you could do that," he said, wonder in his voice. "You are remarkable, Yssie."

Ezran and Yssie

Her face was still near his own, and she felt a gentle flush spread over her cheeks as she bit gently into her lip. Her smile slowly spread as she leaned back, giving them distance. The wildest, most pleasurable scent of rose now filled the area. "Thank you. I am so glad you feel better." (Ysorrowen Vir`Fleur)

Ezran smiled, enjoying the fragrances that she seemed able to create with her magics. He rubbed his arm distractedly. "I hate to leave after you've been so kind to me," he said, sincere regret audible in his voice, "but I need to find someone in the city." He reached out a hand to her, hoping to hold hers for a moment. "Will you let me buy you dinner this evening?" he asked, that winning smile beaming from his face again as it had at the start of their encounter.

She took a careful breath and folded her legs beneath her as she continued to sit and wait. As he spoke, she was unable to hide that little bit of disappointment from her eyes, but shook her head to tell him it was nothing, that it was her pleasure to help him. Her answering smile was luminous as she heard his offer, her hand already in his. "Yes, that would be lovely, Ezran," she said wistfully. The faerie's heart continued to beat rapidly as pale blue eyes drifted downward and lingered on Ezran's lips. His smile warming her soul, her wings fluttered in response. (Ysorrowen Vir`Fleur)

Ezran smiled in response to her words. "I am so glad," he said. "Meet me at The Crescent Moon when the sun kisses the tops of the cliffs." He stood then, brushing the grass and dirt from his pants and looking down on her. "See you then," he said, and with a huge leap, launched himself up into the air, his golden wings beating quickly as he rose into the sky.
