To New Friends

A roleplay transcript by Eternatee, Coraline and Etain

Etain Moonflower stood and brushed away any dirt from her airy garment. She glanced down at the lovely Phoenix Lily and inhaled deeply. She was extremely happy with how well the flower was adapting, and it was evident on her face. Etain turned toward her sister and noticed Eternatee had visited the Hollow. "Lady Eternatee, sister," she came to stand next to them as she greeted them both.

Coraline smiles brightly at the lovely orchid, "Oh my! How lovely! Etain will be so pleased!" She glanced over and smiled as Etain's greeting came to her ears, "And here she is! Hello again, my dearest sister! Isn't that a lovely orchid she brought for you?" Turning back to Eternatee, "Would you like some tea? Or, better yet some wine?"

єϮєяηäϮєє smiles and does a curtsy to the Queen when she approaches. "Your Majesty is lovelier than ever today. I hope you are doing well?" Still holding the orchid in my hands. "Some wine to relax in the lovely garden would be nice thank you."

Her smile touched her eyes as she stepped closer to Cora. She nodded a warm greeting to their visitor. "Oh, Lady Eternatee! You spoil us so," Etain exclaimed as Coraline mentioned the gift. "Orchids are one of my very favorite flowers. Oh my," she gasped, continuing to gush over the gorgeous orchid bloom. She reached to take the flower from her as Etain, herself, enjoyed planting them into their sacred ground.

Coraline nodded at a nearby nymph, "Narcissia, please bring our guest some wine." Smiling at Eternatee, she asked, "Plum or Lavender? I prefer the plum myself."

"Hmmm I have not tried the plum so yes plum please" єϮєяηäϮєє smiles at the lovely nymphs. "My pleasure your Majesty I am always happy to make you smile. I just came to rest before setting to work."

Etain Moonflower looked to the dazzling spotted petals of the orchid. "You are most kind. Do you know what happens when one brings us certain flowers?" She returned her attention to Eternatee's pretty face, her own smile spreading merrily over her lips. "Please, choose anywhere to take a seat and relax." She waited for Eternatee to select a place to settle and would follow her with the orchid held tightly to her breast.

єϮєяηäϮєє smiles at the lovely Queen. "As long as it pleases you then that is gift enough for me your Majesty. Good company and lovely area to rest is more than enough reward for a simple elf girl."

Etain Moonflower grins. "Oh yes, most pleased! We plant them, of course, but we wait for the roots to take hold. We care for them by feeding them nutrients, watering them, and pruning them as needed." Her gaze was steady on the redheaded elf. "All the things you would expect, but then once it starts to flourish, many times a new nymph is born to it." She glanced back to the fragrant flower. It's fragrance was intoxicating. "Do you think this one will sprout one? I have a feeling it will."

єϮєяηäϮєє: "Oh my that I did not know. That is wonderful news your Majesty. Then I am happy I came across it and thought it would please you to have."

Etain Moonflower nodded with great emotion. "A new life could very well be born to us. Another flower nymph we can call sister. Tis a beautiful day, indeed." She turned to the nymph who had offered her her favored glass of lavender wine. "Thank you, Narcissia, please take our lovely new orchid and put her in a safe place until I have had time to plant her." She lifted her glass to Eternatee, "To new friends."

єϮєяηäϮєє: Settling down on a soft mossy area near the cool waters I look up and lift my glass to the Queen. "To new friends" Then take a sip of the plum wine. Its delightful taste pleasing and refreshing.

Etain Moonflower lifted her chin toward the glass of plum wine. "Do you like it? It is stronger than the lavender, which is my preference. Our wines are made fresh daily." She laughed, her face heating as she recalled all the wine she consumed the day before. "And, I will admit, not as strong as the wines you can find out in the city. Our wines are more floral and light. You could liken it to a delightful herb tea with a bite.

єϮєяηäϮєє: "It is wonderful your Majesty. I have never had wine with such a wonderful taste." Takes another sip enjoying the flavor. Leaning back enjoying the peace and beauty of the area. "One can tell you and the others nymphs put much love and care in this area. It is the most lovely I have ever seen. If ever I come across a rare flower I will be sure to get it for you."

"I am pleased to hear it, Lady Eternatee. Your graciousness does not go unnoticed." Etain lifted the flute to peer at its contents. "Nymph wine is designed to calm the nerves and elevate the senses," she said lightly as her gaze then traveled over the mystical nymph gardens. The flowers were in full bloom that time of day, their exhilarating fragrances wafting over any who rested there.

єϮєяηäϮєє: "You and your lovely sister have been kind to me since I first came to Ansa'fel." Looks down into the swirling water. "I don't have many I call friends so when I do I treasure them greatly. Aoife is another one I treasure greatly."

Etain Moonflower's smooth brow furrowed. "Aoife. Is that the elf Lyrena mentioned yesterday," she said more to herself than anything as she could not recall if Eternatee had taken her leave before that discussion. "Is she the one with child?"

єϮєяηäϮєє smiles "Yes she is. I am making her a very special gift for her and the babe."

Etain Moonflower smiled warmly, "A new presence entering our world. A truly spectacular thing," she said and then grew quiet, keeping her thoughts to herself for the time being.

єϮєяηäϮєє nods quietly as thoughts of motherhood and children flow through my mind. Knowing Aoife will be a good mother to her child.

Etain Moonflower lifted the glass to glossed lips and took another sip of the creamy wine. "Shall I leave you to your thoughts, Lady Eternatee? I do not normally talk so much," she softly said, her smile dropping into a lopsided, little grin.

єϮєяηäϮєє "I enjoy your company your Majesty. However I do not wish to take you from your duties. I just wish to sit and enjoy the lovely area then I will be on my way to work on the gift."

"The pleasure is mine, dear Lady. I will leave you to reflect on this day and any answers you seek then." Etain Moonflower started to turn, but added, "When your gift is ready, come by and I will give you a little gift from the nymphs to pass on to the mother-to-be, if you would be so kind."

єϮєяηäϮєє: "With great pleasure your Majesty."

Etain Moonflower smiled and nodded, "A new birth is a very special thing. Good day to you, Lady Eternatee," she said in parting, and made her way over to one of sisters to converse with them quietly.
